The Site's Name:
When choosing a name for this website, we wanted a dynamic name that would convey a sense of power, mystery, and prestige about orca. We wanted a name that would enthrall the visitor and force them to explore the site to its fullest in an effort to satisfy their inner curiosity as to why orca are, in fact, so awesome. Unfortuantly, however, OrcaArePowerfulPrestigiousAndAwesomePlusTheyEatWhiteSharksAndYouJustCan'tTopThat.com was a bit much of a mouthful, so we went with Rule instead. It's simple, to the point, and conveys the necessary message.
This site actually has two website domains: OrcaRule.com and OrcasRule.com. "Orcas" is the technical plural of "orca", but we got both versions to avoid annoying confusion for those who think the plural for "orca" is the same as the singluar, like the plural for "sheep". Plus orca ownage is too great to contain in just one domain.

Who Runs This Site:
The administrators of this website are a single college student who likes to refer to himself in the plural. (We think it's because he has ego problems, but he claims that it's just because it makes him sound more authoritative.) We have a deep passion for orcas and have various orca parafanilia in our posession, such as a poster, face towels, lightswitch, light pull chain, salt and pepper shakers, knicknacks, 1000+ piece puzzle, shirt, several stuffed animals, pillow, blanket, framed photo, and socks (for the significant other).
